Born back when art was chisled upon the cave walls. Settled in Virginia, and raised 5 alpha boys, homeschooled the last one. Art has been in my hands since i started raising kids and making lunch paper bag puppets, candle shadow puppets on the nights the storm put out the lights, and newspaper hats when the boys wanted to be pirots. I have painted, in oil and traced a few flower pictures and painted those, and alway made christmas ornaments .. nothing drawn on my own.. just traced coloring book stuff. Well over the years, i have done stained glass and finely modled teddy bears out of clay because i got tired of making them out of fur. Last year I began to sketch and it was crude but honest. This year no more tracing or color book stuff. Idrawing from pictures I find on the internet, and then began to work with charcoal, colored charcoal and wow, I am amazed and giving God all the glory. I am in full time ministry and always looking for ways to share my faith. It amazes me that people are so responcive to art, they seem to drink it in and admire even the crudest efforts. How Great is that for those who love to do what we do. >
